The movie is about a gang of delinquent guys who are often getting into battles with other gangs for territory, women, money, etc.The Japanese sub-title is "凶悪の転校生" which means "Fierce Transfer Student". This is referring to how the protagonist transferred schools to get away from his old gang.This is the third film in the series and it's based on a manga by TAKADA Masanori. It was distributed by TOHO CO., LTD. The director was KIMURA Takashi and it was released July 17th 2006. The movie runs for 111 minutes or 1 hour 41 minutes long which makes it shorter than the previous films in this series. The main character of the film is a new transfer student named Kuroda. Because he is only one of two male students in his class, Kuroda and his new friend Matsu (Kuroda's friend from the Junior High School he attended) often get into trouble with their new classmates because of Kuroda's impulsive behavior and Matsu's "weirdness". Then they meet a girl who is also one of the few female students in their class. She ends up becoming their main source of comic relief until one day she disappears mysteriously. The rest of the film shows how they try to find out why she left them and how they discover her past with two rival gang members at her previous high school. The film received mixed reviews mainly because the plot was not as elaborate as the previous two films. There was also criticism about the female lead's behavioral change in relation to Kuroda and Matsu. It was also noted how unimpressive the two rival gangs were compared to the ones in the previous films. The main character Kuroda (Takeda Tetsuya) was said to be able to defeat them with one finger if he wanted to; this is because he is part of an older generation of delinquents who were considered by his successors as mere "posing" delinquents.
The movie was released on DVD September 22nd 2006. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles. The movie is also available on Blu-ray format.
